Thank you for joining our 2025 First State Duathlon!

The First State Duathlon returns! Delaware Interscholastic Cycling League is excited to bring back this fun and family friendly competition to Bellevue State Park this summer! Join us on Sunday, July 20 for this year's race and the first one since 2019!

The First State Duathlon is a fun duathlon competition that will take place on the trails at Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, Delaware.

There are three legs to the race: a trail run, followed by a trail bike ride, followed by a shorter trail run. Athletes can race as an individual or with a 2 or 3 person relay team. Competitors will need to provide their own trail bike for the bike leg of the race. We recommend using a trail or mountain bike, or cycle cross or hybrid (with durable tires). All ages and skill sets welcome.
